About Michelle

Michelle F. Horn, Attorney

Michelle Horn grew up near South Bend, Indiana. She moved to Minnesota with her now husband and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the College of St. Catherine. Michelle later earned her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Following law school Michelle worked as a Mediator and was an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell teaching the Mediation Skills Course.

Michelle focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters. In addition to advocacy work, Michelle is a certified Collaborative Law Attorney, Mediator, and Early Neutral Evaluator. She strongly encourages her clients to seek accord through the use of alternative dispute resolution when possible.

Michelle has also completed the trainings for Parenting Time Expeditor, Parenting Consultant, and Child Custody Evaluator. While she no longer actively serves in those roles, she brings the knowledge and understanding gained from those roles to help her clients avoid unnecessary costs, expenses, and delays while navigating the legal process.
